Discover the art, architecture and culture of Vienna, which reveal the urban society and social transformations of the city from the Baroque to the Modern. Study the historicist style of architecture as exemplified in the Ringstrasse, and the modernism of Wagner and Loos.

During this trip, visit the main sites of Imperial Vienna, including the Belvedere and Schonbrunn Palaces (above). Also explore the Vienna of Gustav Klimt and the Secession movement as well as the city’s numerous cafés, where artists and intellectuals met, promoting Vienna’s reputation as an avant-garde cultural center.
