Borrowing equipment in the computer labs

Our goal is to supplement students' academic pursuits by providing computer lab equipment and media technology on a short-term loan basis. Students can request equipment at the computer lab located in G-04 (Grenelle building).

Guidelines for checking out equipment from the Computer Lab

Computer Lab equipment will be checked out to students who present a valid Net Id card. Students who have not registered for the current semester may not borrow any equipment.
  • Students must exchange their Net ID card to borrow equipment
  • Students must return borrowed equipment to the Computer Lab in the same condition as when loaned
  • Students must report any malfunction or damage to equipment
  • Items are available only to be used within the Computer Labs and should be returned no later than 10 minutes before closing.
  • Under no circumstances should the items leave the premises.

Equipment available for checkout

  • Headphones
  • USB key
  • External floppy disks
  • Equipment such as cameras, tripods, microphones, digital picture cameras, voice recorders, video projectors, overhead projectors, external hard drives and various cables, etc...can be checked out at the multimedia office. This equipment will not be loaned out during holiday periods (e.g: Christmas, or Spring Breaks)
