Get started on the right foot at AUP. Set yourself up for a wonderful and stress-free experience at orientation by arriving in Paris on time. Orientation is mandatory and missing even a day of it could seriously jeopardize your AUP experience. When planning your arrival to Paris, be sure to remember these three tips:
- Check the acceptance packet that you received in the mail. It's a great source of information to have on hand.
- Pay attention to your AUP email. Important updates will be sent to you between now and your arrival.
- When in doubt about anything, ask your admissions counselor. They are your main point of contact until you arrive in Paris and they have the experience to answer (almost) any question!

Arriving early
We strongly recommend that you arrive on your designated date. However, if you must arrive before your assigned date and need a place to stay, you will need to book a room at a local hotel. AUP has established partnerships with 4 star hotels in Paris from the INWOOD hotel chain. There are some other accommodation options that you may wish to explore including using Booking.com to search for a hotel or Airbnb.com for an apartment in Paris. You can also check the FIAP for cheaper accommodation.
