As an AUP alum, you’re part of a network of over 20,000 people in 145 countries. All the hallmarks of the AUP education—international, multilingual, forward-thinking—describe our diverse alums, too.
We always love to hear what you’re up to and we hope you feel the same about us, too. We encourage you to get involved as an alum. There are numerous ways to do just that:
Regional groups and chapters offer the possibility to support AUP in your region. Reconnect, network, and exchange through social events both formal and informal with others from your alma mater.
Visiting faculty and senior administration are regularly hosted by regional groups and chapters. These groups help us stay connected with our alumni around the world.
Email us to check out what’s going on in your region. Or contact us to start an alumni chapter where you live.
Are you looking for a way to keep in touch with classmates and with the AUP community at large? Consider becoming a class representative. It’s a great way to stay involved as an alum.
Class representatives promote AUP events and projects to their graduating class. They’re invaluable at helping to fuel participation in events and encouraging others to remain informed about the University.
If you want to stay active with AUP—and encourage others to do the same—we’d love to have your help. Please feel free to contact us to find out more.
Events are a great way to meet members of the AUP community, socialize, network, and exchange. They can also serve as opportunities for prospective students and their parents to learn more about the University.
If you’re interested in hosting an event—whether it be a mini-reunion for alums in your area, an admissions event, or another fun gathering in your home—we’d love to hear from you. Our office helps you organize the event and handles all the logistics. All you need is a smile and your AUP pride.
Please contact us to host an event; we'd love to hear from you!
As an alum, you’re the best recruiter and spokesperson the University could have. Personal referrals and word-of-mouth are the most effective ways to inform prospective students about the University and the things that make the AUP education a different experience.
Your first-hand experience of the University’s unique learning environment and exciting academic programs is invaluable in helping us attract the next class of globally engaged citizens.
You can help us recruit new students in numerous ways:
If you’re interested in sharing your knowledge and AUP spirit with prospective students, we’d love to have you on board! Please contact us to discuss how you can take action for AUP in your area.
Our alums can be found in every field imaginable—NGO management, global communications, international finance, the creative arts.
Offering your industry insight and expertise is a wonderful way to give back to the AUP community and is of great benefit to our current students.
The career mentoring program is an exciting opportunity for students to connect with an alum in their field of interest and receive professional support. We are always looking for more alumni mentors for our current students. The success of previous years of career mentoring has shown that the connections between students and professional alums have increased the number of employment opportunities for students after graduation. Big or small, every gift to AUP goes a long way. Charitable donations help fund scholarships, study trips, academic programs, campus improvements, faculty development, and more.
If you’d like to support AUP, giving a gift as an alum is one of the best ways to do so. Gifts can be directed for specific purposes or left unrestricted to be designated by the University where the need is most urgent.
Your financial support helps ensure that future students enjoy the same quality education that you received—and that we’re continually able to innovate and improve.
To make a gift today, give online or contact the office of outreach and advancement to discuss giving opportunities. Thank you for your support.
