Please join us for Parent Orientation Fall 2021. This program will include pre-recorded videos, virtual and in-person events, and will give you the opportunity to become better acquainted with AUP’s campus, our academic programs and the resources available to your student on campus.

August 9 (Sent by email) – Pre-Recorded Orientation Videos

You will receive pre-recorded informational videos by email on August 9th. These videos are shared with new students as part of their orientation, and we are also sharing the below videos with parents to help acquaint you with student life and academics at AUP:

August 18 (Virtual Event) – Curriculum Overview: Focusing on 21st Century Pathways and The AUP GPS Program

Join Provost William Fisher, Director of Advising, Careers and Experiential Learning Darcee Caron, and Associate Dean for Academic Administration Christine Tomasek to learn how AUP provides an innovative, integrated, experiential learning experience that will propel students to meaningful careers. The event starts at 18:00 CET.

August 19 (Virtual Event) – Campus Safety & Life in Paris: Student Health, Safety and Wellbeing

Join Vice President and Dean of Student Services Marc Montheard, Dean of Student Development Kevin Fore, and Parent Relations Manager Dana Callaghan to learn about on campus security, off campus safety, health and wellness resources and life in Paris.  The event starts at 18:00 CET.

September 1 (Paris Event) – President’s Welcome at The American Church

Join us in person or via live stream for this special event. AUP President Celeste Schenck will welcome families where AUP’s very first classes were held. The event starts at 16:00 CET.

September 1 (Paris Event) – Parent Welcome Cocktail Reception

Join us at Les Jardins de Saint Dominique for a toast to the incoming class, and get to know other AUP families, professors, administration and student leaders. The event starts at 18:00 CET.

September 2 (Paris Events) – Optional Cultural Activities (elective)

If you will be in Paris for AUP's Parent Orientation Fall 2021, consider signing up for a cultural activity on Thursday, September 2nd, hosted by our partners and exclusively for AUP parents.

CANCELLED: September 3 (Paris Event) – AMEX Apero

Still in Paris? Join AUP Parent Relations on campus in the AMEX Café for a casual get-together from 18:00 – 19:30 CET for those who may still be in town. There will be a cash bar available. Space is limited.
