Class Cancellation and faculty absence

If you have already declared a cancelled class through the form below, and now need to declare a make-up class, please submit the MAKE UP CLASS DECLARATION FORM

Please indicate the classes to be cancelled during the period of absence (list each class only once):
Please write the course code, section and time period - example: AH 1003 MR3.
Communication Instructions to the Registrar’s Office
PLEASE INFORM THE CLASS YOURSELF if you are cancelling a class last minute or cancelling a 9 a.m class after the end of the previous business day. Additionally, you may call the front desk of the building where your class takes place in order to ask the reception to inform students of your absence. Cancelled and Make-Up Class Policy
All cancelled classes must be made-up for and declared to Academic Affairs through the completion of the class cancellation form, managed by the Registrar's Office. Only Faculty members can replace Faculty members in the classroom. If you have already held a make up class for the absence you are hereby declaring, please indicate below when it took place. If a make-up class has yet to be organized, please use the Room Booking Tool to reserve a room : https://my.aup.edu/faculty-staff/administrative-services/room-reservations Once the class has been held, please submit a Make Up Class Declaration Form.

Important Notes:

  • This form does not constitute a room booking request. If you require a room for any make-up class you wish to hold, please reserve your desired room on the Room Reservation web tool page.
  • Make up classes cannot be scheduled during reading days or finals.
  • Please also report absences due to sick leave outside of the regular semester schedule.
  • Please send your “ feuille d'arrêt maladie” to stournierataup.edu (Sabrina Tournier.)
